Online ITF Generator
13 one- / two-dimensional barcode formats, check digits computed automatically.
What is ITF?
Interleaved 2 of 5 pairs digits and interleaves their bars, making it one of the densest 1-D numeric symbologies (ISO/IEC 16472). Digits only, so it suits pure numbering: tote IDs, rack locations, batch numbers.
Encoding rules
- Digits only; an odd count is padded with a leading 0 to pair up;
- No built-in check digit — append your own (e.g. mod 10) if needed;
- Rich bar-width variation means stricter aiming than Code 128; keep module width ≥ 0.33 mm.
How to generate an ITF barcode
- Type digits (e.g.
1234567890); - Adjust height and module width;
- Check the preview for clean, unbroken bars;
- Download PNG/SVG.
Typical uses
- Logistics totes and cage trolleys;
- Cold-store racks and temperature-zone labels;
- Legacy equipment and mold IDs.
FAQ
Does the online ITF generator require an account or payment?
No. Every CodeBox tool is 100% free, no sign-up, unlimited use, and all processing happens locally in your browser.
Which characters does ITF support?
Digits and letters (see the spec section for this symbology); example: 1234567890.
Can I download a vector format?
Yes. PNG (512–2048 px) and SVG vector output are both supported; SVG is ideal for print and large formats.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?

Can I print the barcode?
Yes. The tool has built-in printing; for bulk runs use the batch QR generator to lay out A4 sheets.
